Tucson, AZ – June 1, 2005 - Universal Avionics is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul DeHerrera to the position of Vice President of Marketing and Product Support effective June 1, 2005. Paul began his career at Universal Avionics as Manager of OEM Marketing and most recently served in the position of Senior Marketing Director; and now assumes the Vice President of Marketing and Product Support position. Paul’s responsibilities include International and Domestic Sales, OEM & Dealer Sales, Airline & Military Sales and all Customer Support functions.

Paul DeHerrera brings 25+ years of Avionics experience to his new position. He is a FAA licensed Pilot, holds an Airframe and Power Plant License, BS in Electronic Engineering Technology and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Paul currently serves on the Board of Directors of the AEA and has served on numerous committees including aviation tort reform.

Prior to joining Universal Avionics in 1994, Paul DeHerrera was the V.P. of Maintenance and Avionics overseeing operations for the Maintenance and Avionics facilities for AMR Combs a wholly owned subsidiary of AMR Corporation.
