Tucson, AZ (May 31, 2007)– The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has under the terms of the current Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement (BASA) and associated Maintenance Implementation Procedures (MIP), certified Universal Avionics Midwest Office located in Wichita, Kansas as a Part-145 avionics maintenance facility as of April 1, 2007 for an unlimited duration.

Universal Avionics manufactures and markets the UNS-1 WAAS Flight Management Systems; the EFI-890R Flat Panel Display; a line of Flat Panel Integrated Cockpit Displays; Vision-1™ Synthetic Vision System; TAWS Terrain Awareness and Warning System; the ASU chart, E-DOCS, checklist display system; Cockpit Voice Recorder; Radio Control Unit; Engine Display System; and a host of other advanced avionics equipment.
