Our History

The company’s journey began when founder, Hubert L. Naimer, formulated the details of a "Master Navigation System", which led to the development of the world's first Flight Management System. Over 40 years later, Universal Avionics has expanded its product line and delivered breakthrough technologies to the industry that offer incredible safety improvements, situational awareness, and operational benefits for operators.

Today, the organization is led by CEO Dror Yahav, an ex-fighter pilot with a vision of how mission-driven technologies can be adapted to help commercial pilots. Universal brings next-generation avionics systems inspired by military applications to the aviation market to optimize how pilots fly and advance the future of flight.
